MY PHOTOGRAPHY JOURNEY
The first pictures I took were taken with disposable cameras I took with me on field trips or family vacations. When I was old enough I was also allowed to use my parent's camera and with the arrival of digital photography, it got easier for me to practice this newfound hobby, which quickly turned into a passion. In the fall of 2013, I started my media studies and got more and more interested in camera work, which resulted in me buying my first own DSRL camera a year later. Now I regularly take pictures for the video productions I work for, my local field hockey club, friends and family. During my exchange semester, I took a photo class at NAU in Flagstaff, AZ in the USA to further improve my skills as a photographer.
My work has been used among other things as promotional pictures & thumbnails for TV shows & music videos, in the school newspaper of NAU, the school magazine of my home university in the Netherlands, BUAS and on the social media channels & website of the field hockey club LOHC.
MY STYLE & HOW I WORK
The style of my photography is very journalistic both in looks and how I work. I approach most of my photography jobs as reportage photography, to really be there in the moment and capture those memories. I like candid photos with real emotion, I like to experience the day as it is and where necessary I would control something here and there during the photo shoot.
MY PRICES
Hourly rate
I don’t charge per photo I charge per hour of working on location, so there isn't a limit on photos (unless stated otherwise).
At events, I usually deliver around 100 - 200 photos, depending on how the event goes sometimes this will be more, sometimes it's less.
I will always choose quality over quantity.
